On Wednesday, May 19, 2021, Historic Deerfield celebrated the career of its President and CEO, Philip Zea, who is retiring after 36 years working at the museum.

This virtual event celebrated Philip Zea’s contributions to Historic Deerfield and reflected on how far the museum has come in the last few decades. The event featured a celebratory tribute to our fearless leader and behind-the-scenes stories spanning decades.
