2015 Heritage Baking Contest Recipes and Stories

This year’s Historic Deerfield/King Arthur Flour Heritage Recipe Baking Contest focused on the theme of holiday cookies. Bakers from across the U.S. submitted their family holiday cookie recipes, and 13 finalists competed on Saturday, December 5 to win in one of three categories.

And the winners are:

Best Recipe
Lynne Dyer, Turners Falls, MA, “Peanut Cookies”

Best Story
Jeri Case, Greenfield, MA, “Candy Cane Cookies”

Most Creative/Unique
Barbara Keegan, Holyoke, MA, “Date Bars”

The winners received a $50 gift certificate to KingArthurFlour.com/The Baker’s Catalogue and a copy of The Baker’s Companion Cookbook.
